I'm completely barefoot now for a whole month until Saturday 1st June, one week before the team leaves for Cambodia. I tactically chose May as the month because of the (usually) more pleasant weather; having occasionally barefooted back in January in the snow, this was a decision made from experience. Alas, the weather remains thoroughly inconsiderate of my temporary status of 'barefoot citizen'. It hailed recently as I was going for a 'training walk' up the road. The little icy brutes pounded my poor feet, but at least the oncoming drivers had something to chuckle at!
