How i fed myself along the way.

If you want to travel for long periods of time, one worry is food what if i run out of money or if i can't get money out of a bank etc and cant get a meal.

How i learnt to over come this problem as i have absolutely no cash was to trade work for food. I would literally walk up to random people and ask if they had any odd job they could have me do for a meal.

I've cleaned people's cars near supermarkets granted ive been chased away a few times by security but if your lucky you will get that one kind person who will help you. People will help if you show your willing to help yourself and not just be a bum.

In France Paris i walked into a bakery with my best french accent asked how he was and if i could wash his windows for any left over bread. This turned out to be a gold mine i got croissants bagels begets even some ham left over from his lunch. All for washing 5 windows, sweeping and mopping the floor and taking out the rubbish.

There are plenty of websites out there where travelers and like minded people can connect and meet up for a meal or a tour of there city these can often turn into home cooked meals and hot showers.

Remember though don't abuse these and take peoples kindness for granted. I ALWAYS GIVE SOMETHING BACK. You must if not for your own self respect then for the next person who may be in need. If you see someone who is worse off than you, needs help and you can help them DO IT if you don't stop go back where ever you came from and rethink who you are as a person. The world needs more selfless love not selfish spite!!!!
