Initial progress and purchase

Update posted by Jacob David Cunningham

I'm not saying that Soqui is easy, far from it really. The software is not hard. Starting Soqui is what is hard.

Today assuming that my sale of my laptop goes through, losing money here, a fully functional Lenovo ideapad S415 valued on average $400.00 for $140. It does have a minor screen defect (clump of light pixels).

Anyway, that will be huge. I'm going to buy soqui.us which is $4.99

I would have preferred soqui.com but that was already taken. Wouldn't you know it, Soqui is a photographer's name.

Along with that I priced out some servers from GoDaddy, I'm looking at a virtual private server (VPS) as this is within my budget. This server will actually serve multiple purposes (websites) and until there is some real life, I won't need a dedicated server. We are provided with 3GB of RAM, 90GB diskspace, 3TB of bandwith a month. Plenty for now and it's $40.00 No backup though, I'll have to set up some sort of FTP backup.

Today I will have a functioning Soqui website with fake names. What I will need help with aside from funding is the validation problem, human resources ranking of employees, after that it is about the offices, financial aspect, selling the idea... but I'll get a working prototype at least that you can interact with.
