Following your kind donation to 'Joseph's equipment fund' we just wanted to update you on the difference your donation has made. We have now been very fortunate that all the funds have been raised for Joseph to get eye gaze technology, an adapted bike and a portable hoist.

All these items have now been purchased and have made a huge difference to Joseph's life.

Joseph has been using the eye gaze technology with computers at home and at school. He is quickly becoming proficient at using it and over time we expect him to be using it more and more, particularly when he gets to High school in September 2018.

The bike is simply fantastic for him. We have used it so much on bike rides as a family but also with Joseph's friends. This is the single piece of equipment which has given Joseph the most enjoyment.

The portable hoist was the most recent purchase. As we have not gone away since receiving it, we have yet to use it but his grandparents have used it when he has gone to stay with them. When we do go away it make such a difference to us as currently we have to lift him which is getting increasingly harder as he gets bigger. It is fantastic that he can now stay at his his grandparents house with his siblings and we can also give our backs a break when we go away from home.

We are so appreciative of everyone's kind support in helping us purchase these pieces of equipment for Joseph.

For a disabled person, these items are considered luxuries; however they are what's required for Joseph to lead as normal a life as possible, enjoying the things any 10 year old would wish to.

We are so appreciative of your support in making this happen for him.

As he now has all the items we set our to get for him, I will be stopped the fundraising on this website.
