I am very happy to announce that I have my appointments booked at The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins for July 6th, 2015!!!!! I will be seen by glaucoma expert Dr.  Ramulu, and a retinal expert Dr. Gehlbach. My hotel is booked, I have a special rate and free shuttle service to and from my appointments and should I need surgery, the Best Western will have a special shuttle for me!

       I've been assigned an international medical concierge who I've already been emailing back and forth. We are exchanging information/filling out forms and arranging payment for my 2 consultations. He has already given my itinerary for my visit which includes a meeting with my care coordinator before my appointments at the glaucoma and retinal departments.
