Update from Jess Part 2

Update posted by SeanJessKarBrynn

Yesterday started out like any other day, Karleigh had a two hour delay so Sean took her to school.  I had a doctors appointment at 11 so I took brynn with me.  He left at 10:30 am, I left at 11:00.  We went about our day until at 11:44 my day stopped.

Sean called me yelling "Where are you, where are you?" I told him I was leaving the pharmacy & going home to eat and relax.  He said "Jess our house is gone, it's on fire..." I don't even remember the drive from the pharmacy to the house it was like time stood still, life stood still. Everything stopped but me in my car driving -I flew there & parked up in the grass, barely put the car in park, left Brynn in the car seat and just ran up to the house.  There weren't any thoughts in my head, it was an empty skull starring up at the house watching the smoke just pour out.  It wasn't registering at all, after several minutes of the fire departments looking for Ruger they rang the bell & he was brought out wrapped in our family's favorite blanket lifeless.  I laid in the snow with him and held him for awhile, not wanting to let go.  It was the worst feeling, he is irreplaceable:(. We love you ruger & our relationship was just beginning.  We hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we did. You were our biggest loss, and we love you.

While we lost almost everything we are going over today to save what we can.  In the meantime we will be staying with Jim & Laurie.  We have read every comment, every text, every message on facebook, it is a warm feeling knowing how much all of you care, thank you all.

Special thank you Dan Coffman & Nicole Wakefield for calling 911 and watching Brynn, thank you dad for coming, thank you Jim McChesney and Lauri McChesney for taking Brynn home & giving us a place to stay, thank you to all four fire departments for everything, thank you to the society of brothers for bringing over freshly baked cookies.

Sean Mcchesney & I are thankful we have each other and our three girls, at the end of the day they are all that matters...
