This has to be one of the best updates anyone could have the pleasure of writing. Thanks to an incredibly generous and substantial donation from J.A.K Marketing, my target has been reached. This will now enable me to both purchase the power wheelchair and have funds available for the ongoing servicing and maintenance. 'Thank you' seems such an ineffective phrase to express the enormity of my gratitude, but I would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to J.A.K Marketing and to everyone that has donated. Having this chair means the ability to go out. It will mean having the freedom to choose. I will be able to be beside my husband again, to take our dogs to the park. I can pop round to the local shops for some milk. I can go for a stroll on the beach (something I haven?t been able to do in the 14 years I have been paralysed). And I can do so much more. Many people take these small things for granted but having that ability will mean the world to me.

The wheelchair will take approximately two months to build. I'm so, so excited, but waiting that time in the grand scheme of things is nothing if it means that my world will open up. An immense thank you again to each and everyone for your kindness and generosity. I will be forever grateful.
