She is finally home (at midnight last night) from her most recent round of chemo. Instead of 3-4 days, she is spending 8-9 days each time in the hospital every two weeks! This is due to her body holding the chemo in and not clearing it for a longer time than it's supposed to take. Nothing they can do about that, so she's stuck with the situation in this phase of her treatment. It sure makes it hard to feel normal though. She was also very sick from it this time. Not leaving much time to get fitted for leg braces, wig, etc., etc.
She has many more rounds of treatment ahead of her (too many to think about). Your cards, gifts, prayers and well wishes truly help to cheer her up and to feel the kindness you all have shown her. Please do not stop donating, praying, sending your regards, as it all means so much! This young girl is working hard to maintain her positive attitude, her schoolwork, and her appreciation for life.
