Cleveland Clinic Re-Transplant Evaluation

Update posted by SaveApril

Hello Everyone!

For those of you who follow myself, April or her family on facebook you may already know that April conquered her fear of flying and took her first flight to Cleveland Clinic for a re-transplant evaluation. Isn't she amazing? She went through a rigourous few days of testing and the results were pretty optimistic. In basic terms Aprils lower lobes are very tight but her upper airways are open. She was told she needs to treat her body like a CF patient again and start her exercises, including wearing her CF vest. She is not going to be listed for transplant at this time. Rather, she will go back to Cleveland again in 4 months to evaluate her condition and progress. Rejection can come and go. With this said it is more important than ever that we help April raise funds to help with the cost of these trips as she will now be a frequent flyer  As April continues this journey she will need continued prayers, support, love and assistance from all of us.

Thank you to all who have donated, sent their love and prayers. April is true warrior, drawing strength from her faith, family and friends, though she does have her moments of fear and anxiety she never gives up and neither will we!
