I went and saw a Chinese medicine doc up in Denver this morning. After an hour long interview she emphatically recommended a strong course of antibiotics. This is no small suggestion from someone who usually deals in herbs and natural healing. So this afternoon I went back to my doc in Castle Rock. We decided to take that recommendation and also kick things up a notch testing wise. I am now taking Levofloxacin, which is strong enough to be used to treat things such as anthrax and plague. If antibiotics can cure this, this one should do it. It feels good to be getting proactive again. Just hoping this round is effective...
