Devin has been officially moved out of the icu across the hall to a less critical unit. He is off the Ivs and onto oral medication now to keep his heart working. The medication has doubled his hearts a ability to pump blood which still is less then a healthy hearts capacity. He will be on these meds for life. As of now he will be keeping his heart :D (wohooooooo!) He is extremely grateful for this. Today we are getting reviewed by all departments to talk about Devin returning to home & cardiac rehabilitation. He's been overwhelmed (& emotional) by the amount of love outreach and support from everyone. THANK YOU for being here; it's made all the difference in his spirit & will to recover & stay strong in such a traumatic time.
