School visit 2016

Update posted by Natalie Lang

In May I met with the head of boarding and head of year at Northwood and I’m happy to report that Thomas is doing exceptionally well. He has grown as an individual, has made strong friendships and is actively involved in service to sport by being the videographer for the rugby team, something an older boy in boarding school encouraged him to do. I personally observed a change in Thomas, he has become more independent and I see positive signs of maturity. All of this, I believe, is opening up his eyes to what is out there and is another step in the direction of breaking the poverty cycle. William, Thomas younger brother has approached me about his desire to attend boarding school from next year (he starts at Northwood in January 2017) and I believe that he has seen how his brother has changed and wishes the same for himself. Unfortunately their home lives have not changed, in fact things at home are deteriorating so it’s even more important now to help these children in the right direction.

Please help me to educate these wonderful children and making a change in their lives by donating today. Many thanks, Natalie
