In case any of you were wondering how far your money will go in Kenya, here is a bit of information for you.

To feed a child a day costs £1.65, a bed for a child costs £53.90 (bunk bed), exercise books cost 35p, a school bag costs £2.50 and a pint of milk costs 30p.

£1.65 to feed a child for a day - I know times are tough, but I'm sure we can all afford such a small amount.
