Purchased How to start your own charity: A detailed guide to researching, developing and regerstering a charity trust with the Charity commisioners by Richard Thomas, to give me a better understanding of what I need to do to start my own charity. I have been speaking to people about this subject and I get the impression that I can start a charity which will cost around £500 but to have it officially registered for tax break purposes I need to have an income of £5000 per year.. Better work harder at  fund raising!
