Thanks to the generous donations, both here and off-line, we have raised enough money to drill the well and install a storage tank!

New bathrooms have been constructed, as well as a septic tank, so the water and sanitary facilities are now in place.

This doesn't mean we are finished, however.  There are still many needs at the school, including classroom renovations, teaching aides and supplies, and more.  The most pressing need is to institute a meal program for the children that come to school hungry.  A meal at school may be the only food they have during the day.  For less than $1/day, we can provide a nourshing meal for one child.  Most of us in the USA spend more than that for a cup of coffee or a soft drink.  Please consider donating to help us raise children out of poverty, to a life of hope and a bright future!
