26 days and counting!!

Less than a month!!! Time to slightly panic!!! Although I'm pretty much ready to rock and roll. I've purchased lots of rehydration tablets, energy sweets etc, I've got all of my medication sorted (no malaria or yellow fever for me thank you very much) and my visa and passport are complete.

It looks like I am on track to hit target which is a major training incentive for me whilst the weather is yukky! I recently did a 16km walk (the most I will do on the mountain) and it was a long old slog once the rain set in but I managed it and felt good... Now to just do that in freezing conditions on summit night! I've also got an immensely difficult gym programme for the last 4 weeks, which will attempt to put right my knee pain. When I walk, my knees go outwards resulting in pain just under the patella. I've recently purchased custom made super feet insoles and these are a godsend! I had no knee pain throughout the 16km walk.
