I did it!!

Update posted by clatfo

Before...

Ok, so we expected the course to take about 2-3 hours, but in reality it was FAR tougher than expected and took what felt like forever!! BUT we completed it, and managed a fairly respectable 5 HOURS & 13 MINUTES!!!

We have swum through thick mud, climbed a variety of obstacles including tyres walls, climbing walls, cargo nets, fences, hills....waded through rivers, belly crawled through tunnels (and mud) and under barbed wire and heavy tarps (and more mud) and clambered and waded through underground bunkers (and yet more mud). We've also jumped off high platforms (into yet more mud), slid down steel scaffolding poles, rolled and climbed down cargo nets, and slipped and fallen into more mud filled ditches, trenches and holes than I care to remember! 'Mud' definitely played a starring role in the days progression!

I have come home scratched, bruised and battered, but all in all, I'm rather proud of my achievement, and am very proud to say that I completed the 14k Nuts Challenge.....bring on next year :)

My poor legs!

Anyway, pictures of me on the course (as proof!) will be available soon, and I'll update them on here once done. Thank you to all those who have already supported me, and I hope that more of you can all support me and dig deep and help me support our school and our childrens future!

Love Kate x
