Symptoms to report

Update posted by Anita McLeod

Hello Supporters,

News to report...  we had to return Rogue to the clinic Saturday after he was experiencing bloody urine, vomiting, not eating, licking his groin profusely (we neutered him at the same time he was under for his elbow surgery) and discolouration in this area.

By Sunday, we heard he was eating again and getting better with new antibiotics.  Nick and I think this is a reaction to the antibiotics we were given initially (Cephalexin).  He has never had antibiotics previously.  The other medications given for his comfort, we have used before.  The Vet can't confirm this yet.  He is going to do an Ultrasound tonight and we should hear the results shortly after.

The Vet will be keeping him until he is confident Rogue is completely well.  We thank Vets Toronto & Kingston Rd Clinic - especially Dr. Mitelman for their dedication to Rogue.  As they say, "He is now family".

We are asking for your prayers that Rogue will be fine.  Whatever this is, pray it won't be fatal, will heal quickly and we can bring him home again for good.

Thanks,

Anita and Nick McLeod  xx

P.S.  We have decided to keep the campaign open until the scheduled end date September 4th, in case we incur more fees for his current case.
