An Update from Marjolein at Watoto Wema Centre:

'There has been a complication in Stephen health program. He has been filled up with blood, ready to go for the surgery which was suppose to be yesterday. Unfortunatly his bleeding time is to long. We where aware he has a prolonged bleeding time, but it's longer then used to be. So he need to take some more medication and stay more days in hospital as we wait for his bleeding time to be stable, so he will not loose to much blood during the surgery. This also affects in the hospital bill. Kindly continue to donate to so we can get him out of the hospital as soon as possible. (in Kenya you remain in hospital until you have finished your bills, so if we do not have sufficient funds after the surgery is done, end of this week, he will wait for us in the hospital until the bill is cleared.
