Just wanted to stop in and say how totally gratefull I am for the kindness that has been shown to myself and my family.  I've sent my son a letter to tell him that I am going to be able to attend his graduation after all.  He is so happy and wrote back that he actually cried when he read how the money was raised.  Neither of us had any idea that people would care enough to try and help.

What I didn't share with him was that the extra money has been diverted to his account to help with his bills.  I've left this project open in case anyone else wanted to give.  I think it would be a wonderful surprise for my son to return home and find that he doesn't have to worry about as many bills as he is anticipating.  He is aware that I've tried to take care of important ones like his car payment but others have had to wait.

Again, thank you so much to those of you who have donated and those who have followed this project and simply whispered a prayer for it's success.
