The #BlackPantherChallenge is an initiative launched by Frederick Joseph (US) to raise money to take Harlem children to see Black Panther in the cinema. I would like to bring this to Nairobi, Kenya.

Cinema is mainly a privilege for the middle class and rich in Kenya. I would love to give this opportunity to the poor and vulnerable in Nairobi. I would like to take at least 50 vulnerable youth currently being rehabilitated by the Napenda Kuishi trust mainly operating in korogocho slums. The name comes from the Kiswahili words "Napenda Kuishi", which mean "I want to live"; it was chosen directly by the street children in rehabilitation, at the time of the foundation of the Trust (2006). I believe the movie would be a major source of inspiration and hope for these kids and especially getting to see Lupita would help motivate them to worker harder so that they can realize their dreams just as she did.

A ticket goes for 800 shillings ($8) and 200 shillings ($2) would cater for transportation and snacks.

Thank you.
