Campaign Story
We need HELP!!!! I am 43and disabled. My fiance is 40 and unemployed but does odd jobs here and there to help out and is still actively looking for work. We both make jewelry and paracord survival bracelets, gun sings, and bow straps and sell at the flea market for extra money. We have four children at home and two who are grown. We also have my disabled Mother who had a brain tumor and cancer. We live in a 1999 single wide three bedroom mobile home, Mom's 1967 trailer, and two out building (seperate bedrooms). Mom's trailer is almost unlivable, the roof is caved in in some areas and the wiring is very dangerous. Our trailer was purchased used. It has broken plumbing in both bathooms and the kitchen which runs our water bill up to $400 plus a month. The closets on the opposite walls to the bathrooms both have black mold, lots of it and so does the wall behind the kitchen sink and underneath. We have no plumbing skills or friends with plumbing skills or extra money with which to purchase tools and replacement plumbing pipes. The hotwater is one of the broken hoses so it runs the hot water heater all the time plus the well. We manually shut off the faucets but they still leak. We really want to get rid of this deadly trailer and try to get a new/used one that will hold all of us. If we could find a used trailer with 4 or 5 bedrooms it would be perfect. It would get rid of the deadly black mold issue, the $400 plus a month electric bill, and we can move Mom into the trailer so we can keep her safe and closer to us to help her. Our children are starting to suffer from the black mold. One of our daughter's has very bad asthma and the boys are starting to show signs of it as well. We've cleaned the closets before and sprayed the mold and cleaned it before but until the plu, bing is fix, it's going to continue to grow and be deadly. Please help us raise enough money to repai the plumbing and finally stop the black mold or buy a used trailer that's big enough for all of us to live together safely. We offer paracord bracelets to those who help us out. Let us know what colors you want, what size, and what style. You'll be helping us keep our children healthy, improve their lives, and help us take better care of my Mom. Thank you.

According to researchers at UC Berkley, the poor are far more generous than the rich because the poor are more connected to the people around them. We've all been there; some of us are still there. :) I wish I had more to give you. Stay strong.

Thank you. We are very grateful! Yes, the poor are more generous. We have to fight harder for everything we have and know what it's like to not have. Thank you again.
