About us

Our Project will give African Americans a safe and secure community by providing fully renovated properties in their community and a security service we call the “Safe and Secure Team.” The Safe and Secure team (SST) will consist of passionate individuals who will serve the local community by acting as liason between the police, residents, and the community leaders.

Our Current Project

Our first project consists of renovating multi-family apartment complex that will accommodate 225 or more residence. This community will include onsite Day Care/Child Development center and Chapel for worship services.

Who We Are

The Black Global Community Development (BGCD) Fund is an organization driven by our mission and determination to provide housing solutions for African Americans living in distressed properties within high-crime areas. We particularly create safe housing for low income earners by focusing on two areas - housing and security. Since time immemorial, Black Americans have been subjected to abject poverty by circumstances beyond their control such as misinformation, denial of financial and real estate services, and all types of racial segregation. As a result, they mostly live in delipidated houses in high-crime areas.

Our Purpose

BGCD Fund was set up to provide solutions for people in these environments to make sure that they live in decent and safe environments. We are repairing and renovating properties in black communities. Where necessary, we are buying properties and renovating them to resettle black Americans. We also call upon all able-bodied people to contribute by joining each community’s Safe and Secure Team (SST) to keep black communities safe.

Advisory Board

We have an advisory board in place that has oversight over the activities of the fund and provides it with strategic direction. It consists of experts who have first-hand experience in community development and understand the current housing situation for African Americans. They also have knowledge and experience in coming up with solutions. They also have knowledge and experience in coming up with solutions. They play a major role in our organization, and some of their primary responsibilities include:

• Giving independent unbiased advice and ideas.
• Providing a platform for social networking between the organization and the Black communities around the globe.
• Keeping up to date on the current trends in the community development field and informing management accordingly.
• Encouraging and supporting management in the exploration of new ideas for current problems.
• Stimulating conversations about community problems and the requisite solutions, and that way increasing the confidence of management.
