Over the last few weeks the world has woken up to the crisis surrounding the Syrian refugees. Sadly, it took the death of a tiny child for many to have their eyes opened. There are still thousands of children caught in the middle of this terrible situation with nothing but what their parents could carry and the clothes they stand in. That means no toys or games. I am making 'Bizzy Bags' which will contain a puzzle book, crayons, jigsaw etc. to send to the various camps in Greece and Calais.

The bags are my way of sending some comfort to the children and allow them to be children again.

The cost of the bags are broken down as follows:

  • Puzzle book 7p each
  • crayons 6p a pack
  • jigsaw 7p each
  • maze puzzle 8p each
  • doodle pad 13p each
  • bag 3p each

This totals 44p. The bags will cost 50p each with 6p from each bag going towards the cost of shipping them to Greece and further afield. The prices shown are the wholesale prices. NO profit will come from the bags.

I will attach a tag to each bag. When you make a payment please feel free to add a message (i.e. "from Sophia, age 8yrs, Sheffield - stay strong") I will take regular pictures of the bags and tags being shipped out and be VERY transparent about the costs involved and answer all questions. I have already been in touch with people in Kos and Calais who have supported this idea and said it is much needed for the children who have nothing.

If you would like to 'Buy a Bag' and support this cause, please donate 50p for each bag you want to send.
