Campaign Story
Our Biogeography class is going to Ecuador this semester for an excursion trip where we will be examining, discussing, and learning about highland and lowland flora and fauna. The trip is required and considered our lab grade for the class. In total, we have 10 people going on the trip; one teacher and 9 students.
Our school was willing to pay $500 per person. We are
currently trying to raise as much money as we can. Our goal is to raise $12,000
for the entire group. That is $1,200 per person. Our expenses for the $12,000 goal
are as follows.
FLIGHT TICKET = $608.19 x 10 = $6,081.90
TRANSPORTATION = $103.00 x 10 = $1,030.00
HOTELS = $154.00 x 10 = $1,540.00
MEALS = $135.00 x 10 = $1,350.00
EXCURSIONS = $52.00 x 10 = $520.00
EMERGENCY MONEY = $200.00 x 10 = $2,000.00
TOTAL = $1,252.19 x 10 = $12,521.90
To date, we have received $500.00 in donations. We still need $12,000 for our entire class. Any amount you can donate would be appreciated. Please share our story for continued and diverse educational experiences.
