Her is our story ! This is my 10 year old cat, Binkers. I adopted him when he was roughly 1 or 2 years old from the Toronto humane society. He has always been an independent kitty. He does love his head scratched, but for the most part he just like to left alone. Unless you have a red lazer light then he's out and ready to play Binkers his 2 doggy brothers and I had to move as I was constantly ill will sinus infections and pneumonia. I found that we had mould in our townhome. I asked the landlord and management team to look into it but they refused to do the testing. I then decided it was time to move. I was only in the unit for 6 months. So I had to break my lease, pay a penalty and find first and last months rent which was a large sum of $3000. We all moved out on March 29th. I was still ill. Binkers seemed to be ok. I monitored him for a few days and his appetite didn't seem to be normal for him. On the morning of April 3rd I woke up to get ready for work and I noticed Binkers was not himself . He was having major dificulty breathing. He had no desire to say good morning . I rushed him to the vet right away and unfortunately had to stay over night. He was very very dehydrated and was extremely congested. The vet didn't think he was going to pull through. I went to visit him after work and there was no change. Not eating, eyes still closed over. He was still not himself. I left him over night and had a phone call first thing Friday morning. The vet said he was doing better but has to stay longer because he was still not eating. My bill started off at $500, but becauE of his extended stay the final bill was close to $900. :( very steep but I had to save his life. He's my pride and joy and now I am having difficulties paying his bill. He still needs to follow up after his 2 weeks of antibiotics! He will require another blood test, urine test and possible x-rays. Please if you can help my kitty get through this. We would greatly appreciate anything. Thank you in advanceLove binkers and his family />Vet bill/>In the hospital
