Billy Bob’s Medical Fund

Billy Bob is the most gentle, soulful boy who desperately needs our help. He came to Felines & Canines on April 18, 2015 from a rural shelter in Kentucky. When he arrived, we discovered Billy Bob had been severely attacked by other dogs and the infection had ravaged his body so badly that he couldn't walk, stand, eat or drink. We rushed him to the vet where he underwent his first (of what will be a total of 3-5 surgeries) to attempt to repair the internal and external damage caused to his rear legs, penis and abdomen. On Monday, April 27 he went back for a second repair surgery. The infection is so aggressive that it is not allowing his skin to regenerate, therefore his body continues to open up. On April 28, he was diagnosed with Canine Influenza and is now back in intensive care. Our hearts are breaking for the pain the Billy Bob is enduring and all we want to do is get our boy healthy so he can have the love and life that he so badly deserves.
