Our father was a great man, play the above video and watch the Industry tribute from this year's NAMM show.
At only 66 years old his light vanished from this plane when he passed on December 21, 2013. He looked forward to his death as being "the ultimate freedom and release" from a lifetime which left him "tired and bruised". Fortunately, all his children and grandchildren were able to visit with him to say good bye that afternoon.
The shock of losing someone so very close and just before Christmas was overwhelming for all of us. After scrounging money together to have him cremated we realized we have no money to host a memorial service in his honor. We had tried to plan for something small and set a reasonable budget. We later discovered that any funds from his life insurance policy will be put towards his burial in a crypt (that we had previously thought was pre-paid) as well as travel expenses for the 10 of us to make the trek to Sunny Arizona (where the crypt is located).
What we are asking for is money to throw him the retirement party he was never able to have. He worked as a Manufacturer's Representative for the Music Industry for over 30 years. He covered a large number of states in the western portion of the US, and would travel all throughout to visit with his customers. Our family has been torn apart & we really need this closure.
Anything you can give is greatly appreciated! We loved our father very much and just would like to give him a proper send-off. Thank you so much!

I knew Bill for almost twenty years and always enjoyed visiting with him whether on the phone or during his occaisional trips to Las Vegas. He was a class act and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
