Campaign Story
Our dad, Bill Evans, has been waiting for the last five years for a new liver. He was diagnosed in 2010 with liver failure (due to medical related reasons and not alcohol) and had been going through the process of being put on the waiting list. In 2012 he was put on the active waiting list to receive a liver. The call finally came in the morning of July 14, 2015 that he was to get a new liver. He has come out of surgery and the liver is working. We need to raise some money to help our mom with expenses. The surgery was performed in a different city and they both need to live there for three months while Bill is recovering. Meanwhile our mom has no income as she needs to stay with him and still needs to pay her regular bills and added expenses related to the living in another city. In exchange for your wonderful generosity we will be offering some of our photography as prints. We own a photography business called In His Image Photographic Services, and we do a variety of different types of photography. We also make hand crafted soap, so that will also be an offer.
The rewards will be as follows:
$1-$10 - 4x6 photo art print
$10-$20 - 5x6 photo art print or a handcrafted bar of soap (approx. 4oz made with goat's milk)
$20-$30 - 8x10 photo art print or a handcrafted bar of soap
$30-$50 - 2 8x10 art prints AND a handcrafted bar of soap
$50-$75 - 11x14 art print
$75 + - 11x14 art print, 2 8x10 art prints and a handcrafted bar of soap
Any amount - a heartfelt thank you card from us.
