The system of tracking of young cyclists (mountain bike-cross country)
The tracking system of young cyclists (mountain bike-cross country)
The "tracking system" is designed as a training program based on a scientific approach and a multi-year cycling (mtb) experience from the field.
The program will be implemented in the period from 1 March to 30 September 2018 in the area of the City of Zagreb and part of the program will be implemented in Istria in summer.
The program is aimed at working with young talented bikers who, with their approach, their knowledge and previous competitive results, deviate from their peers (coevals).
The objective of this group of cyclists is to provide optimal conditions for further development of motor skills and to raise the level of cycling knowledge and skills according to their potential.
In order to achieve this, besides the knowledge of cycling sport, a scientific approach involving primarily sports diagnostics and measuring equipment (measuring devices that measure several key parameters such as heart rate, cadence, power, etc.) is also required.
This type of tracking involves the use of precision but expensive measuring equipment (powermeter, cadence sensor, heart rate sensor, cyclocomputer, trainer), and the implementation of this program with a high quality scientific approach and practical cycling experience of coaches will raise Croatian cycling and will enhance the process of creating future top cyclists.
