Bigger premises with playing compound and household items for my child care community cause

Hi Everyone,

I am a mother of 3. I have been operating a child day care programme in my community since May 2021. My husband has been without employment since COVID-19 stroke. It was a while later after struggling without food or rent that I decided to begin this cause. Currently I am operating in my own small house which cannot serve more than 10 children. There are many request but sometimes I tell other parents that it's full.

My aim is to help babysit other mothers children as they look for employment and be able to support their families, since most of them suffered the same fate as I, after the pandemic stroke. Since I started most mothers have been able to either sell vegetables and other cash crops, do farming or find casual employment in the well up estates.

I charge only a little fee which enables us manage our house rent and appreciate a volunteer nanny working with me. With the funds I will rent bigger premises that can host more children, buy toys ,mattresses, t.v set for watching cartoons and educative clips, chairs, tables and utensils.

My vision is to see family lives improve in my community.
