When Jade was 13, she was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. She is now 31 years old and requires 24 hour care with her daily life and assistance to carry out her disability campaigning within the community. As a direct result of her Multiple Sclerosis, she has great difficulty with mobility, speech and also her eye sight.
Jade has very poor movement in her eyes and also has a severe wobble of the eye (nystagmus) which causes her vision to shake (oscillopsia). This means that with a standard size television, she is unable to see the images however with a large TV, she is able to see the images much more clearly and enjoy the programmes that she likes to watch.
Jade used to really enjoy watching television regularly, especially comedy, documentaries and movies so we are looking to raise £2000 to purchase a 70inch television so that she is able to enjoy watching television again.
Thank you for all your support in advance
