Bicol, a region in the Philippines, has been consistently hit by devastating typhoons in the past month. Its residents have not yet recovered both financially and emotionally from the damages brought by Typhoon Quinta (Molave), Typhoon Rolly (Goni), and Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) yet they are expected to prepare once more as four more typhoons are expected to enter the country's area of responsibility before the year ends.
People died, homes were destroyed, food and water supplies are scarce; the Bicolanos are struggling to recover from the past typhoons and it will be nearly impossible to prepare once more for the coming ones. I hope that through this fundraiser, you can help provide the Bicolanos financial support which will be used to give them some monetary assistance, food, clean drinking water, hygiene materials, and data assistance for students who still need to attend online classes.
We hope that you can help us make the Bicolanos feel the Christmas spirit and the spirit of solidarity. We are resilient but we also need help.
