Hello everyone. First, I would like to thank the Lord for a great day at church. God has been so good to us in so many ways. I would also like to thank our ladies for baking all the cupcakes for our 1st Annual Bible Valentine Offering. They were so tasty and delicious. My two favorites new ones were the lemon with strawberry filling. And then the breakfast cupcake.
Each year, hearafter, we are planning to have a Bible Valentine Offering for Bibles the first Sunday after Valentine’s Day. This is a ministry not a hobby or something we are doing just to “fill” in a space between the “real” ministries. I know of no other ministry with more importance than sending the word of God to pastors around the globe.
I would also like to thank our church for being a part in todays offering and seeing a real need that needed to be met. Thank you so much for your sacrificial giving, many out of your poverty.
I would also like to give an update on our Bible offerings today and where we stand now, in reaching our goal. We needed $200.98 to be able to send Pastor Janel Vergara Nemeno $800. Pastor Nemeno had requested 100 King James Bibles several months back, to give to his church members and new converts. Today we received $621.00. Praise the Lord!
This means we can now send Pastor Nemeno $800 and put over $400 toward our next pastor on the list, Pastor Yamant who is also in need of 100 Bibles. God is so good!
I have also asked our people to start each month to give above their tithes and offerings, at least $8 per month for Bibles. We our 16 or so people with do this each month we can send 200 Bibles per year. Now, that may not sound like a lot, but our God is able.
Just think, if someone like you would partner with us and give $8 and 99 others would do the same, think of the souls that would be saved from hell. Think about the lives that could be changed for all eternity. Think about the homes and marriages that could be saved. Think about the churches that would be strengthen in the faith. Will you help us?
Thank each of you so much who has given online, sent in checks, and for our church members. May God bless each of you. Until the next fundraiser.
Pastor Marc Grizzard
