Help us Save Beth from Leukemia

Hello to all the good souls out there. Thank you for taking time to read through my plea.

My name is Beth, 43 yrs. Old from the Philippines. I've been married for 17 years now. God blessed us with 3 lovely children Lilian (16 yrs.old), Lucio (7 yrs.old), and Luis (3 yrs.old). We had our ups and downs just like every normal couple would gone through. But I can say that I am still blessed to have this family.

Everything was perfect and I could not ask for more until Black Saturday (April 20, 2019) came. We had to go hospital for my son Lucio for check up due to high fever but the Doctor said I thought you are the one who will be checked up "you are so pale thought you were ill". I told the Doctor that my son is ill. On Easter Sunday (April 21, 2019) my son was admitted at the hospital. On April 22, 2019 I had to have my Lab test Complete Blood Count (CBC) and I showed it to the Doctor. Then she wants me to be admitted for blood transfusion (3 packs of blood) due to low results on my CBC and they diagnosed me as Aplastic Anemia. The Doctors recommended me to undergo Bone Marrow Biopsy.

We thought after Bone Marrow Biopsy everything will be alright and we can go back to our normal life but it is just the beginning. On May 10, 2019, I had my 1st Bone Marrow Biopsy. We received the results on May 17, 2019 a week before my birthday. It was a bad news for me because findings on my Bone Marrow Biopsy is Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Our world stopped, we had to change plans for our kids schooling and I had to leave on my work. I have to had a chemotherapy as soon as possible. As much as we love to have my treatment, immediately we did not have enough money to sustain financially. We are determined to fight this sickness in spite of this. We have sought and continously seeking the help of different institutions hoping for favorable response to come our way.

I am 43 years old. We are hoping that we can cope with this illness without stopping my medications because of financial constraints.

I still need to be a wife to my husband, a mother to my children, care for them, guide them and watch them grow.

In this regard, We are knocking at the door of your hearts to please help us to cope up with my illness. We might not be able to pay you back but with our whole hearts we pay that God will bless you more and keep you healthy and safe. May the Lord return it to you a hundred fold.
