Our beloved Bertica and her husband traveled from Colombia to New Jersey on October 5 with the encouragement to visit their daughter and family. On the night of Friday, October 13, Bertica suffered an invasive stroke that put out her radiant life and smile.

Those of us who had the privilege to meet and share with Bertica, we always enjoyed her smile, her infinite attentions, her immense charisma and great human warmth that always characterized her.

Bertica has left a deep emptiness in her family and friends both in her native land Montenegro and in New Jersey. Today we celebrate Bertica's life and we unite to bid her farewell in New Jersey and allow her to rest in peace in her village Montenegro.

Bertica will be repatriated to Colombia in the coming days; family and friends we will have the opportunity to dismiss her for the last time.
