Campaign Story
Dear friends, family, and to you-a kind soul who are reading this,
March 21st 2013, Bernie suffered a stroke. After partially recovering from the hospital, he needed to start physiological therapies to help him move the numb part of his body. Being sick with type 2 diabetes, it took longer than usual to finally be able to progress from his condition. Being a responsible hardworking man that he is, he was able to get back to work. Until one day, he suffered another seizure while at work. As a result, he needed to retire early. His heart sank, his mind is strong but his body is sick.
On August 1, 2017, Bernie suffered difficulty in breathing, and showed signs of edema. He was brought to Iligan Medical Centre and stayed for a month and 18 days. His tests showed that he had a heart failure, secondary to chronic kidney failure and was dialyse immediately. Worst, he was on close watch at the ICU for 10 days. He is now transferred at CDO hospital, his coronary angiogram showed that a heart bypass is recommended as soon as possible.
He is currently confined at Capitol University Medical Center and the bills are topping up.
The financial resources are inadequate to meet his hospital care needs as a larger amount was already consumed at the previous hospital..
To you-a dear friend who may have been touched by Bernie's kindness, we knock on your heart to help raise fund for his urgent bypass operation.
By God's grace and your compassion, Bernie will be able to undergo an urgent surgery.
Our dear Bernie is a fighter. His spirit is soaring high with a hope to live longer.
Thank you and God bless us all.
