After my son Jack died suddenly in August 2010 at the age of 23 months old; I had a dream I would buy a holiday home by the sea for bereaved parents who lost a child. A place to spend some time to learn to smile and laugh again and create new memories, somewhere to escape everyday life completely free of charge. 90% of relationships break down after the death of a child and hopefully by going away together can give the space and time to grieve and create new memories.
I found a wonderful static mobile home located by the sea in Cornwall. The asking price is 17.5k it was over 35k at new.I need to raise funds to buy this place so I can start to send some families on a get away break. This amount also includes 6000 to pay to the holiday park which is payable every year.
Losing a child is the most devestating thing to go through and it has a huge impact on an entire family Can you help with this fundraising challenge?
