BEOC Alliance “To Save One Life” Campaign

The BEOC Alliance seeks to improve and strengthen the capacity of governments (local, county, State), FEMA, our business partners, and NGOs in preventing, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters of magnitude through a dynamic partnership triad comprising academia, private sector entities and government. The BEOC Alliance focuses upon education and scientific research in accomplishing its overall mission.

The Alliance has recently researched the use of drones, small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, during public safety scenarios and has provided a small level of funding to develop a capability that first responders can leverage during responses to normal emergencies, disasters, and catastrophes. The overall goal is to reduce decision making times during emergencies so that lives can be saved.
