Benny’s Christmas Wish

Hi everyone, this is Alva Rosalind and my family, and I decided to ask you all to donate generously this year to make this special person’s Christmas dream come true!

The man in the photo is Benny. He is called "Benny" in the park where my future mother-in-law Sharon lives. He painted it on his golf cart, so no one can get it wrong! Benny always has a smile on his face, it's nice to meet you, and has a good story to tell anyone who wants to hear it!

Benny is a special person. He makes a TON for all his friends in the park. He uses his golf cart to deliver mail to his elders every day, drags his lawn mower, rake and shovel, drags or moves anything that anyone asks him to do. Benny’s golf cart is his only means of transportation because he has no actual vehicle. In winter, to make ends meet, he uses his golf cart to go around the park, shoveling snow on driveways and sidewalks, and in summer he mows grass. Since the death of his mother a few years ago, Benny has worked very hard to be able to live alone. In order to continue to do so, he really needs a means of transportation to reach many of his jobs.

That being said, the purpose of this gogetfunding is to try to raise enough funds for Benny to buy a new golf cart, or side by side, with a bed in the back, and maybe even a blade he can use to shovel the driveway. The one he has now is very old, and the engine has reached the last stop. He recently bought it, but was used, and within a few hours of owning it, the engine smoked. He just told me the other day that he has no money to repair more or buy a new one, and he really really needs something better.

We usually adopt a family on Christmas Day, but this year we will adopt Benny for $1,000 and ask for any help to help him get a new riding experience! Thank you for your donation and warm heart. God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas!
