Cece Benningfield the sister of Kelley Mckethan, who works at Bryan PD as the Public Information Officer. Kelley also went to the Police Academy with Joe (Cece's husband), who used to work for CSPD. Anyone who knows them knows that they are a wonderful family.
Cece was diagnosed with breast cancer around Mother's Day in 2012. Cece beat it, but it has now come back and spread all over her body. Doctors told her she may not make it to her daughter's high school graduation in early June. We are a family and want to support them in their time of need.
May 17th (tentative at the moment) we will have a brisket benefit, selling sandwiches n chips & also whole briskets. We would like to also get items donated and try to get folks to bid on them on the Facebook Event Benningfit!. All photos will be items to bid on, and you may leave your contact info, or message me on Facebook and leave it.
Volunteers will be needed to obtain silent auction items and also help the day of the event with delivery and service. Please private message me if you would like to help or message on here. I will make this where people can share it but please try to keep it somewhat a secret, we would like to surprise them. Kelley knows, but we would like to surprise Cece and Joe.

CeCe took me under her wing, and even though we only taught together for one year, she never let me go - always called to check on me and encourage me as a young mom! I am praying for you Joe, and for Tanner, Sherry, Ethan, Cassidy, and Ike.

My prayers have been with Cece and her children and all of her family. I met her when my grandson dated her daughter; she is a beautiful Christian woman and I know she will accept whatever God's will is for her; praying her children and husband to receive their strength from God ....
