BEN BEN STUDIES IN AUSTRALIA :D

Hi! My name is Benedict and I am 21 years old this year and serving the army for Singapore.

It has always been a dream of mine since secondary school to be an architect and that dream has not faltered. I have never been artistically talented thus I had a really rough start in this industry. However, I have always found joy in creating an art piece that I know people would eventually appreciate and use. Architecture is sure tough to master but it has always been my passion and hobby and I intend to live thru it for the rest of my life.

It is mandatory for all Singaporean male to enlist in the army to serve Singapore but with that comes financial difficulties. As a soldier in Singapore, I am only given $500 allowance every month which consists of paying for my daily commute and bills. Singapore standard of living is high and sadly because of that I am only able to save roughly $50 every month. I have been offered a place in the University of Newcastle to pursue my studies however tuition fees add up to $32000 per year which is too much for me to afford! :(

I am privileged to have received such an offer from the University of Newcastle and I would very much not like to see it go to waste! I am asking the community to help me get thru this financial difficulty and affirm that dreams do come true!

MY GOAL: I would be trying to save as much money as I can right now and apply scholarships to pay off all other additional costs. My initial goal is to raise $5000 but additional funds would definitely help a lot! :)

I am committed to do the best I can to my abilities, to be independent and lessen the financial burden of my family!

I believe that dreams do come true and with God anything is possible! Whatever God put in your heart to give, be it $5 or $200, do know that a little goes a long way and any donation no matter being or small will be deeply appreciated!!!

That being said, I sincerely hope donors would be so kind to support me in my endeavors and allow me a chance to go abroad to fulfill my dreams. :))
