Beloveds

Beloveds is a nonprofit organization that is based in the Greenville area in South Carolina. Beloveds is a newly formed organization with the intent to alleviate hunger. Beloved’s mission statement is to feed the whole man, not just the body but the mind and soul. We hope to expand our borders by starting at the local level and then using our resources to impact that of the world.
Beloveds all started through trying circumstances. Beloved’s founder, Matthew Newton, found himself at the age of twenty five, homeless. Perhaps just feeling the shockwaves of the recession or lack of planning, he had to trust in local giving channels. This was a humbling experience for Matt. He had in fact been the recipient of a half tuition scholarship after high school and seemed to have all his plans in order. Never the less he was accepting daily food donations from a food bank, and had to overcome his demons. Much of this experience taught Matt to trust in a higher power and put his faith in God. With much to do now that he is on his feet and living a productive life on his sister’s farm, he wants to give back to the community that so helped him in his time of need. Your contribution to Beloveds will not only inspire people to live healthier more productive lives, but will build up the community greatly.
Beloved’s key foundations is its fundamentally sound philosophy that starts with every man’s ability to make a good life for themselves. Beloved’s doctrine is to empower, engage, and enforce the entire man with tools to do so in a tangible way. By taking the first steps in asking for assistance, one can learn that they are not just a statistic of a homeless plight, but a person made by God to do good works. Self-esteem is a byproduct of working with Beloveds. A person can find hope at Beloveds. When kindness and giving meet, add a little love and you have a recipe for the making of a successful socially responsible person.
Beloveds wants to be the hands and feet of people who have the need to give but wonder, “What can I do to help our society?” Beloveds can meet the needs of people seeking to start their lives with a fresh start. We not only want to give a hand out, but a hand up as well. With all of our goals to freely give as a good steward should, we know we will be met with loving kindness to do so.
