Ram’s Journey to Happy Heart

Hi, I am Ram Caleb Santiago, 1 year old and I have a Congenital Heart Defect - VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) with 0.6cm "hole" in my heart.

I am a healthy boy despite my condition but still, my cardiologist said I needed to undergo an open-heart surgery at Philippine Heart Center to totally correct my heart anytime soon to lessen the risk of heart failure. This will also give me an opportunity to stop taking all my maintenance medicines. Currently, I'm taking 3 kinds of meds twice a day. I really don't know what that means but I can sense my parents' fear, worry, love, hope and soon to be relief all at the same time. My parents always told us that God is always faithful and will provide for all our needs. Indeed, it is true because all throughout, we've been blessed with lots of love, care and strength. But aside all these, my parents will be needing a little support to push through with my surgery. They need a hefty sum of money to cover all the expenses. It's still early to thank all of you but here I am, with a grateful heart, asking for a little help to extend my life. With your help, and by God's Grace, soon I will have a happy heart and will live a purposeful life that God has planned for me.
