Our daughter Belle is nearly 5yrs old and has Autism with severe learning disabilities, sensory disorder, and severe difficulties with feeding and communication. She attends a local special school with her older brother Max and has amazed us with her determination to learn and her beautiful sunny positive nature.
Belle is also very hypermobile which causes her to regularly fall, find co ordination very difficult and have lots of accidents.
Belle loves being outdoors but finds moving around and climbing really difficult as she wears leg splints and needs a protective helmet. Belles physiotherapist recently recommended an assessment for a special therapy trike which would help Belle to build muscle in her legs and torso while supporting her joints and having a parent safety handle.
Belle absolutely loved it but at a cost of nearly £2,000 it is something we will never be able to afford. Pease would you help fund a Tomcat Fizz Trike for Belle to give her a chance of walking freely and without pain when she is older, of course also with hours of fun outside with mum or dad cycling around our beautifull country side.
We can never find a cure for Belle's autism but we could help to make her life alot easier if we can help her to strengthen her joints and muscles.
