Renee is one of the most giving and selfless people on this earth. She is an amazing mother and a fantastic communicator with a strong personality and a loving heart. Renee has had many obstacles thrown her way in her lifetime, but she has always been determined to fight her way through them. This has lead to many achievements, including but not limited to graduating with her bachelors degree on June 1, 2012.
Unfortunately Renee was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer called leiomyosarcoma. Leiomyosarcomas are malignant tumors which develop from smooth muscle tissue.

Leiomyosarcoma (Gr. "smooth muscle connective tissue tumor"), aka LMS, is a malignant cancer of smooth muscle. (When such a neoplasm is benign, it is a leiomyoma.)
