BEING HIV POSITIVE IS NOT THE END campaign aims at empowering women living with HIV in Mkuranga ward through entreprenuership and business management skills. The study conducted by proactive society and subsistence initiatives showed most of women living with HIV have inadequate access to their social and economic basic needs. This dire situation is said to be caused by poverty and lack of access to productive resources such as credit facilities.Consequent to this, these women are in bad health condition ,live in despair and die earlier despite ARVs intake.

The campaign aims at imparting women with business and entreprenuership skills through which they will be able to employ themselves ,earn income that support them to access their basic need .To ensure that project intends to impart these women with skills on soap making . batik and body lotion manufacturing through skill tailored training

However, the project also intend to link these women with credit institutions to increase their access to credit for their iniatiated businesses.

Therefore, the project request for 3500$ to implement the project that will involve training and provision of 100$ to each of 15 women live with HIV that project will serve
