Hello everyone,

First I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read our story. ❤️. Where do I begin??.....

So almost 4 yrs ago I was in a situation where I urgently needed to move. My friend told me to go and talk to a man named Pete, who had a guest house he might be willing to rent me. So I went and talked to him, it was far from perfect. But I fixed it up as best I could, and it was a roof for my son and I.

Over the years we had our disagreements from time to time. But he became probably the closest thing I'll ever have to a Dad. I had planned on living here until I was ready to buy a house.

In 2021 I started my own landscaping business, it was going well! I was working for a property management company, and had many other clients. I had a guy working for me, and was planning to actually hire him full time, as there was more work than I could keep up with.

Then in 2022 a horrifying truth came out. Which started an extremely difficult custody battle for my son and I. I ended up giving up my business because fighting to save my son took majority of my time. And what was happening made it very unpredictable, and difficult.

In April 2023, Pete had a hernia, and had to go to the hospital. (He also had a few other medical issues, and dementia was starting in). but he had always, still gotten around just fine. Well when he came out of the hospital a few days later, he could barely get around. Im not sure what happened but it took a toll fast! He could no longer take care of himself. Taking care of him and still fighting for my son's safety was almost too much for one person to handle. But I was glad to have been there. Luckily the drama and unpredictability from the custody battle started to slow down.

Then Sept. 2023 Pete passed away. I knew it would happen, but I never imagined that soon. I also didn't realize how much it would effect me. His daughter took over the estate. And did a flash sale for 2 days last month. It just finished going through escrow. So I met the new owners last Friday, and they informed me that they are tearing it down and building a new house and want me to move in 3 weeks....

I know I have rights. well I don't know exactly what they are, but I don't have the energy to fight it at all! I signed an agreement saying I would be out by April 9th.

It's my hopes that I can find a place, and it can be a smooth transition for my son and I. So we can finally breathe, and have a break to heal from all the trauma and chaos we've endured the last 2 years.

Thanks again for reading! If you are able to donate, it is truly appreciated! If you can't that's ok too! Prayers and shares are kindly accepted as well!! God bless! ❤️❤️❤️

Sincerely,

Kristen
