Is being illustrator my wildest dream? Yes, it is.
I'm making drawings since I could grab a pencil in my chubby hands. At school i was always drawing, and obviously, in the mind of every teacher for not paying attention to the class :) I was that kind of little girl who used to made its own toys with paper, cardboard and glue, like drawing paperdolls, their dresses, and make them a beautiful house with a box.
I grew up, and four years ago I started to study arts at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo and now I'm about to finish. (yay thing ever)
I've been working since two years ago on my creations, such as comics, prints and stuff, but now I need a little help to take this to another level.
I want to improve my talent with new and better things:
~Release my first handmade comic book. (a travel journal): I live in an amazing country with stunning places. So, I want to illustrate a travel journal with many of those places as a guide to the tourist, and a way for people know more about this little island.
~Start selling my work (to ship it to all around the world): Open my online store to the people who wants my illustrations on different merchandise, like prints, pins, calendars, and more.
~Start a drawing club (Drawsome Girls) to encourage female new artist to reach their dreams: All those girls who draw will have space to get promote, and a team to helping each other.
For this dream I need 2000 dollars. All this money goes to the Making-Dreams Machine to buy the needed supplies such as paper, pecils, printers, cutter machine, sketchbooks, packaging supplies and stuff.
There's is no a night which i fall to sleep with no imagining me living this dream. Sometimes i get mad with myself because of bad thoughts like: Oh c'om! you won't reach that! And maybe is true because we, the dreamers, are living hard times.
If you want to supporting me you can make a donation or maybe with a simple thumbs up, you know, sharing with friends. That would be amazing.
Thank you so much for reading this. Thank you so much for the chance. It means the universe for me.
