Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Hello I'm Anya, and I was blessed with gifted hands to add more beauty to the world. I'm a single mom of four, not by choice, but my children's father was killed by a drunk driver one night and since I had my children, I had to put my dreams aside to make sure they were given the attention and help they needed to succeed. Now that my children are a little older, I want to go back to school and obtain my cosmetology license. My children are great helpers, they always encourage me to keep going and not to give up on my dreams. I currently work with mentally disabled consumers, helping them gain social and personal skills for daily life. Although I love my job, I can't make ends meet. I struggle daily with everyday duties and trying to play catch up with bills but I only get pushed further down. I'm not looking for sympathy, because I have all my limbs and I'm healthy and very capable of surviving, but It would be a blessing to be able to go back to school and get my degree so that I make a better life for my family, but I'm going to need some help. I enrolled to go to school in August of 2000 and in September, I found out my grandma was dying from Cancer. I had to drop out and help care for her and because of that my student loan that I had, went into default and I haven't been able to pay it back or enroll in another school. Every year I file taxes and the government takes all, plus they are now garnishing my wages at my job. It seems unreal sometimes that all this is happening at once to me. I continue to pray and trust that one day the rain will stop and the sun will come out again. I've been researching schools and found one that isn't so pricey, but has a great program so that amount is what I need to get started and obtain all my supplies for class.
